Annie Barker, our Children and Families Worker jointly with Summertown United Reformed Church, has started a group for 10+ year olds called “The Urchins”. The photograph shows members of this group enjoying a barbecue in the garden at the Vicarage.

The group usually meets on the third Sunday of each month from 5-7pm on Sunday evenings in St Peter’s Church Room. Contact Annie for the dates of meetings and for more information.

Young people aged 10 upwards also currently sing in our choir, and serve at the 10am Sunday services. We also welcome help from older teenagers with our children’s work on Sundays, and with the Fairtrade stall we run once a month at the Farmers’ Market in Wolvercote Primary School.
