For a Bird’s Eye View of St Peter’s: go to Bird’s Eye Views and you will find amazing views of St Peter’s from the air. You have to type in the postal code (OX2 8AS) in the search box where it asks you to enter ‘city, address or landmark’ and then click on the ‘bird’s eye view’ icon. You can move the photograph about using the arrows on the 4 points of the compass N, S, W and W to get the church in the centre of the field of view. If you click on the + sign on the insert on the LH side of the photograph you will increase the magnification. Also you can rotate your view of the church in either the clockwise or anticlockwise directions. Happy browsing!

From the city centre: drive north up the Woodstock Road (A4144). Go past St Edward’s School and then St Gregory and St Augustine Roman Catholic Church (on your right). A few hundred metres further on, turn left into a road called First Turn. St Peter’s is 200 metres along First Turn on your right.

From outside of Oxford: make your way round the ring road to the large roundabout at the top of the Woodstock Road (where the A40, A44 and the Woodstock Road – the A4144 – meet). Ignore the sign to Wolvercote at that roundabout. Instead, head south down the Woodstock Road towards Oxford City Centre. Only 200 metres down the Woodstock road, turn right into the road called First Turn. St Peter’s is 200 metres along First Turn on your right.

Travelling by bus: catch the No 6 bus from the city centre (outside the Randolph Hotel). Get off after the bus has turned into First Turn. The Church is 50 metres further on, opposite Wolvercote Primary School.

Lifts to Church: if you live in Wolvercote and would like a lift to Church, please contact Clive Williams on 01865 436866.
