Children and Families Worker

Anne Dorman

St Peter’s is committed to finding appropriate ways to engage, inspire and challenge our children and exploring new ways of worshiping together.

From 1 August, Anne Dorman will lead a team of volunteers to plan and deliver weekly services for under-10s and a small number of Explorers outreach events throughout the year.

St Peter’s extends its grateful thanks to Jess Richmond who has stepped back from this role to respond to family commitments.

Anne writes, ” I am delighted to be the new Children’s and Families’ Worker at St Peter’s.  With my husband Andrew I have two grown-up daughters and two labradors and have lived in Oxford since 2004. I previously worked as a doctor in the NHS with both adults and children, and in children’s ministry at Wokingham Baptist, Ramsbury and St Andrew’s Oxford as well as more recently here at St Peter’s. I love music, stories, food and getting creatively messy with colour, glitter and glue, and exploring Bible stories in ways that are fun for children. I am looking forward to working with the team here and to meeting you and your family.”
