In the Vicarage garden

There are over 200 people on the electoral roll of St Peter’s Church, and about 100 of them attend our services on an ordinary Sunday. Many of them are involved in organising different aspects of Church life, or in serving our local community. The group photograph shows those attending the Petertide Festival lunch in the Vicarage garden in 2006.

The Vicar at St Peter’s, the Revd Dr Mark Butchers, has overall responsibility for the life of the church, in conjunction with the Curate (Revd Viv Bridges), the Associate Priest (Revd Joanna Coney), the Curate in Training (Revd Dr Rob Gilbert), the two Churchwardens, Michael Daniell and Rodney Eatock Taylor, and the Parochial Church Council, which meets regularly to discuss Church business.

We also employ Annie Barker as our Children and Families Worker, jointly with Summertown United Reformed Church, to oversee and develop our children’s activities.
