It costs us over £500 every day to maintain our beautiful buildings and run our church’s ministry, providing support for our parishioners, children, families and outreach activities. We are dependent on regular giving and generous donations.
We are enormously grateful for anything you can give, large or small.
You can help us financially in several different ways:
Direct donation
You can make a donation by debit or credit card through the Church of England’s “Give a Little” online portal, anonymously if preferred.
By cheque
Make cheques payable to “St Peter’s Church Wolvercote” and either bring it to a service, or send it to the parish office (St Peter’s Church, First Turn, Oxford, OX2 8AQ). If you are a UK taxpayer you can enhance the value of your gift by 25% at no cost to yourself by enclosing your cheque in a completed blue gift aid envelope which you can find at the back of church.
By direct electronic bank transfer
Our bank details are:

Regular giving is vital to our budgeting and planning. It sustains our church and helps us to plan for the future. This is why St Peter’s is a member of the Parish Giving Scheme (PGS). The PGS makes it safe and easy to give, with Gift Aid if eligible. Please contact the parish office if you would like to be in touch with someone about setting up a regular donation.
Registering for GiftAid means St Peter’s, as a registered charity, can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give. It will not cost you any extra. To do so, complete a Gift Aid declaration (Download a Gift Aid declaration form). Your donations will qualify as long as they’re not more than four times what you have paid in tax in that tax year (6 April to 5 April). The tax could have been paid on income or capital gains. You must tell us if you stop paying enough tax. Send the completed form to St Peter’s Gift Aid Officer, Prof R Eatock Taylor (see form for contact details).
