St Peter's Church, Wolvercote

St Peter's Church Wolvercote

A warm welcome to St Peter’s Wolvercote!

There has been a church on our site for around 1000 years, and St Peter's remains home to a thriving worshipping community. Whether you are new to the area or visiting, we are delighted to extend a warm welcome to you.

Our worship is rooted in the ancient traditions of the church, but with a lightness of touch. People come to us in joy and in sorrow, and we help people celebrate many key life events

We are an Inclusive Church. Everyone is welcome, irrespective of anything which distinguishes people from each other. This includes, but is not limited to age, gender, race and sexuality. We offer worship and events for different ages, including specifically for children

Our door is open during daylight hours on most days of the week. People of all faiths and none are welcome to pray, reflect, rest, shelter, read, or simply be. If you'd like to speak to a member of the clergy, you'll find contact details here.

We take the safety of all our community very seriously. Go to our safeguarding page to find out about our policies and who to contact if needed.

St Peter's is part of a benefice with All Saints' Wytham, and is one of the four churches in the Summertown Wolvercote Wytham Church Partnership

Come and see us! We’d love to meet you.
